Booking Conditions and privacy policy

The terms and conditions below apply for reservations made by an individual, private person unless a special agreement has been made. The hotel reserves a right to apply special terms and conditions that differ from these in case of public holidays, special events, seasonality or additional services require so.We kindly ask our Customers (hereinafter Customer or You) to read and understand our terms and conditions before finalizing their booking as by making a booking via our website, You also accept and agree to all terms and conditions.

BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION

When reserving a room your name, address, arrival- and departure time and method of payment are required.
A room reservation is binding once it has been confirmed verbally or in writing and you have received a reservation confirmation number. The hotel is entitled to apply different kinds of rules such as reservation fee or credit card guarantee in order to secure the reservation.
A reservation is deemed to have been made upon the hotel’s acceptance of your reservation request. You may receive an acknowledgment of receipt by email after your reservation.
Reservation made will only considered firm until either part payment of payment in full depending on the time of making the booking and the arrival date. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the payment is made. The hotel room is at your disposal from 14:00 pm on the day of arrival. On your departure day the room must be vacated by 12:00 noon. The hotel is entitled to apply exceptions on check-in and check-out times stated above. For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private premises and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed.
The room will be reserved for you until 1800 on the day of arrival unless no other agreement has been made at the time of reserving or if the confirmed rate or reservation period does not include any other special terms. In case of arrival after 1800 you can guarantee the reservation with a credit card or other method specified. Should full payment not be received in advance the hotel can release the reserved room for sale after 1800 pm.
In case you arrive at the hotel according to the arrival time agreed and the room you have reserved is not available, the hotel is liable to arrange you an equivalent room without extra charges.
Ameya Kerala reserves the right to require either a complete or partial advance payment in order to guarantee the reservation. Amount of prepayment and a schedule for prepayment will be contracted with customer in writing. Advance payment can be made either online through the links provided, by credit/debit cards or via Bank transfer.

Cancellation and refund

Confirmed bookings can be cancelled 15 days prior to arrival without any penalty and any amounts paid will be refunded in full.
Bookings cancelled between 14 days upto 8 days prior will incur a charge of 50 % of one nights room tariff.
Confirmed reservations cancelled less than 7 day will attract a cancellation charge of 1 nights room tariff.
We follow good manners and hotel rules at the hotel. In case of breaking these rules you may be immediately removed from the premises. In such cases you are still obliged to pay for the accommodation and additional services ordered. You are not eligible to claim a refund for payments already made.
For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private hotel premises such as hotel rooms and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed.
The hotel is not responsible for damage or disappearance of vehicles kept in the garage or the hotel’s parking area or valuables inside the vehicle. The hotel is obliged to clearly express in the garage and at the parking area that the area is not supervised and the hotel is not responsible for the property kept in there.
As a guest you are responsible for damage caused on purpose or by accident by you, your guest or your pet in the hotel room or in hotel premises. This applies also to the hotel furniture and other equipment, other guests in the hotel or their property.
Photo Identity: All Guests are requested to produce the Government Approved photo identity card for Indian Nationals and Valid Passport and Visa for Foreign Nationals upon Arrival.
Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer
In no event shall Ameya Kerala be responsible for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss or damage, however arising and whether in contract, tort or otherwise, which you may suffer in connection with or arising out of: your use of the Site or any Linked Web Site; or your use of or reliance on Content or any other material accessed through the Site including via any Linked Web Site; including without limitation, loss or damage by way of loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, business interruption or loss of Content.
These Conditions do not purport to exclude liability arising by any applicable law if, and to the extent, such liability cannot be lawfully excluded, however, to the extent permitted by law, all warranties, terms or conditions which would otherwise be implied into these Conditions are hereby excluded.
We will accept no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of our obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water or other utility service.
